Hey!
Wow, I don't even know what to say. Have you ever thought about how weird it is to meet someone else for the first time? Like, I know that my world exists, and you know that your world exists... but to think that they could exist completely separately, without ever coming into contact with one another, yet exist at the same time and in the same physical presence... and now they're colliding? That's insane.
And kind of scary.
Anyway, I have homework I should be doing... So I'll get straight to the post, and what I want to get across: who I am, and what this blog is going to exist for.
Who am I?
Haha, that's funny. I'm still figuring that out myself.
What I do know is that I'm a 17-year-old girl that is in her last year of high school. I spend the majority of my time going to school, studying, reading the news, volunteering, competing in high school Speech and Debate, cuddling with my cat, and socializing. I strive to get good grades in school, which means I'm a nerd, but I totally embrace that. I love being a nerd!
I also fancy girls, mostly. Guys sometimes, but not so much anymore. They're just not as appealing to me, and kind of stress me out. I can guarantee that I will be posting about this topic in the future.
And, I go by Lorena. :)
What is this going to be about?
This blog is for three people: Me, Myself, and I. (no, I don't have multiple personalities, nor do I have anything against people with them. It's a joke.)
I need a place where I can put my thoughts down. I don't like hand-written journaling... for some reason, a physical copy of my thoughts is more scary than an electronic one. Don't ask why, it just is. It also takes me way longer to handwrite something than it is to type it out, so here I am!
I'm not here to entertain you, but if you happen to be entertained by what I have to say, then I'm glad! But this blog is for me. I've found that I have a need to invest in myself a little more, and this is how I'm going to do it.
